Pájaro Libre began with a desire to share beauty and ritual with sovereign leaders I've met along the way.

As a medicine woman and teacher, I came to understand smoke differently through my work in plant medicine ceremony. Tobacco has long held a ceremonial place as a tool for grounding, clearing, connection, and offering. Around the fire, it isn't uncommon for tobacco or cannabis to be shared. I loved the simplicity of it — something passed between people while we talked, listened, and sat together. I wanted to romance those moments with my own offering.

While developing and testing blends, I often found myself brewing tea at the same time. After working with smoke, something warm for my lungs felt good. What began as an herbal cigarette became a multidimensional offering — something to steep or smoke, depending on the moment.

Which felt naturally aligned with my love for the frontier spirit.

Tea had already been an important ritual throughout my own inner journey. It is something I return to because it makes me feel warm, grounded, and safe. Steeped herbs feel like a love letter.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of moving through, learning from, and contributing to different communities exploring what sovereignty can look like in practice. I've watched that spirit take form through food and farming, new systems of money and trade, natural building, homeschooling, open-source technology, and people reclaiming the knowledge and skills to create more of what they need.

There is a frontier being built here, in many different ways and by many different hands.

Pájaro Libre is for the founders of the New Earth.

For the people building it now — in how we grow, trade, teach, create, and live. And for the moments that bring us back to presence: tea on the patio, a smoke with a view on a solo road trip, something passed around the fire with friends, or a quiet moment of communion with your higher self.

Pájaro Libre is made for connection in all its forms — to ourselves, to each other, and to something greater.

Because in the end, the blend is just the excuse.
